High-quality kyanite has become increasingly difficult to find, but this time I was fortunate enough to discover a truly special bicolor kyanite, featuring a soft green base with a beautiful blue band. It is a rare gemstone that is not often seen. One of kyanite’s unique characteristics is its natural parallel striations, formed as the crystal grows. It is also unusual because its hardness varies depending on the direction of the crystal. For this reason, cutting kyanite into a beautiful gemstone requires exceptional craftsmanship, making fine pieces especially valuable.
